Data Tracking provides a complete service for the printing and distribution of polling cards. This service can be tailored to the individual needs of each authority be it a complete print and delivery package or print, fulfillment or delivery in isolation.

Printing

Data Tracking have teamed up with several specialist print and fulfillment houses to enable us to tender for the whole of your polling card needs at a competitive price. We base the majority of our poll card printing on A3 or A4 sheets which hold cards either 6 or 12 to view. The base cards are printed on a conventional litho press then sent to our fulfillment house where high speed laser printers insert individual elector details along with any special features such as maps or barcodes.

Because of the number of suppliers we are contracted to we have a huge capacity for the printing of polling cards for the combined 2009 County and European Elections.

Fulfillment

After personalization the polling cards are personalised in either Walksort order for Royal Mail or TNT Post despatch or packed in polling district order for delivery. All boxes are clearly marked for ease of distribution.

Our main fulfillment supplier is Romax who have many years experience in the fulfillment of Local Authority polling card requirements having undertaken this work for several London Authorities.

Distribution

As an alternative to the normal Royal Mail Walksort service Data Tracking offer a highly effective distribution service at competitive prices. We have teams of Staff throughout the Country who are experienced at and well versed in the demands of such a job and we can handle any task in any area from 10,000 to 1,000,000. Our Staff are sourced in many ways by using past and present Electoral Register canvassers, polling card delivery people, census staff, Recruitment Agencies, Universities and various National and Regional Associations and Groups as well as assisting in Church and Charity appeals.

All our Staff are CRB checked and thoroughly vetted for reliability and trustworthiness – each team of ten Staff is supervised by an Area Manager who is responsible for performing back checks within the area and general monitoring of the distribution service.

One potential problem for door to door distribution agents is the inaccessibility of flats and certain properties. Data Tracking have overcome this by including within our fee a percentage allowance so that any cards relating to inaccessible properties are posted via normal Royal Mail channels on the same day.
